Female TikTok Stars: 4 Businesses Started by Famous Female TikTokers
Nov 15, 2024How many of you have been personally victimized by TikTok and the amount of hours you’ve spent stuck in a loop of finding and purchasing from businesses that have somehow found their way to your For You Page?
Many successful businesses, both small and large, have been created by female TikTok stars.
These influencers have turned their social media popularity into entrepreneurial success, and in many cases, if they weren’t stars before launching their businesses, they certainly are now.
Female TikTok stars have mastered the art of using their platform to build brands, connect with audiences, and drive sales, making them powerful forces in the business world.
Whether it's launching beauty lines, fashion brands, or lifestyle products, these female TikTok stars are leading the way in social commerce and entrepreneurship.
Female TikTok Star #1: Addison Rae (@addisonre) - Item Beauty
TikTok in 2020 had a tight grip on us all, but Addison Rae had the majority of the attention.
After one of her first TikToks went viral, female TikTok star Addison Rae was on the rise.
The more popular Addison kept becoming, the more people started to become intrigued with the entire family, which led to even her parents becoming Celebs!
Addison became an icon on and off TikTok- she started singing, acting, and eventually launched ITEM Beauty in August of 2020. ITEM Beauty is an all-in-one clean skincare and makeup brand, and has brought lots of wealth and popularity to this rising female TikTok star!
Female TikTok Stars #2: Jessica Anderson Tello (shop93playstreet) - 93 Play Street
Jessica Anderson Tello’s name might not ring a bell, but her line of all inclusive swimwear has been circulating TikTok for quite some time!
As a female, we all know how difficult it can be to find a swimsuit that covers all the areas (and we do mean all), so when Tello finally had enough of the swimwear that was not appropriate to wear in all situations (like meeting your boyfriend’s family for the first time and it just so happens to be a trip to the lake), she launched 93 Play Street.
Tello has taken the time to perfect and design swimwear that will cover and flatter a woman’s body at the same time.
It’s definitely a win-win for women and for all body types with sizes ranging from XS-XXXL, and many different colors that look flawless on any skin tone.
93 Play Street promotes a lot of their swimwear through TikTok, so while Tello did not begin her rise as a female TikTok star the way Addison Rae did, her honest reviews and comparisons of other swimwear versus 93 Play Street swimwear has definitely drawn in women of all shapes and sizes!
Female TikTok Stars #3: Charle D'Amelio (charlidamelio) - 444 Capital | D'Amelio brands
Right before the fame of Addison Rae was the start of the rise for Charlie D’Amelio, and if you have ever scrolled on TikTok, you have definitely come across a video or ten of Charlie, and probably even her sister Dixie! Charlie was undoubtedly the first female TikTok star, and she remains one of the top influencers today. Her presence on and off of TikTok has only grown since her first viral video, and so has the fame of her entire family.
The D’Amelio family has now started a new venture off of social media. They created 444 Capital, which is a venture capital firm that will invest in startup companies.
Charlie’s career on TikTok has successfully allowed each member of her family to have a career as well- and began it all at the age of sixteen years old!
Female TikTok Stars #4: Jen Ruiz (@jenonajetplane) - Jen On a Jet Plane
Jen’s call to fame is similar to Jessica Anderson Tello, but there are some differences. Jen joined TikTok in 2020 the way we all did, but she used the social media platform to share her travel adventures.
When people began living vicariously through her after following her and sharing her experiences with the world, she became extremely influential, and this female TikTok star used her platform for good!
She started her own business, Jen on a Jet Plane, where she began sharing her tips for travel! She gives her audience tips on how to travel on a budget, how to travel while working remotely, and she even gives tips on how to travel alone for those who prefer that!
