Sky Society Launches Fashion Friday Series

 [Austin, TX] December 5th, 2022 — Sky Society has created a women's work fashion series with recurring Instagram posts and highlights every Friday.

This content will feature work fashion inspiration, store recommendations, and styling recommendations. This new series is called Fashion Friday.

The team behind the creation of the series said the idea came to them because after college they were looking to transition their closet from college comfy to business casual.

It can be challenging to find the right balance between professional and stylish. You don’t have to choose between the two! This series will help you find the right mix of both. We hope to help women find their unique stylish business style. 

The series includes outfit inspirations from 3 different stylists and many brand/clothing recommendations. You will not find a shortage of variety in this series, each stylist brings her own style. 

During our press release research, we had the incredible opportunity to meet the three masterminds of this new series: Sky Accelerator alumni Alyssa Lehman, Wadel Goyol, and Andrea Ramirez.

What inspired you to start the fashion Friday series? 

“Fashion Friday came to mind because I remembered after getting my first internship I realized I had no idea how to transition my closet from college comfy to business casual.”

What are your sources of inspiration for creating new content?

“It’s important to showcase inclusivity in our series, because we all have different style. Personal I like merging comfort and chic, so influencers like Kayte Portillo & quepasoyaya inspire the content I create.”

- Andrea Ramirez

What do you think the top fashion trends will be in 2023?

“I think we’ll see more structured silhouettes, patterns and bold pops of color in 2023. Comfy clothing and neutrals will still be very prevalent, but I think people will want to experiment more and branch out from the norm.”
